Beginning at 11 AM EST and ending at 12 PM EST Switcher servers had intermittent connection issues which would cause some requests to be dropped or take a very long time to complete. The majority of the connection issues happened between 11:45 AM EST and 12 PM EST.

The underlying cause was a server configuration issue that prevented our servers from scaling up appropriately for Sunday morning traffic. We manually scaled the servers at 12 PM EST to accommodate the influx of requests and fixed the configuration issue that caused the automatic scaling operation to fail.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to everyone that attempted to use Switcher at that time.
